Many of the students who study English in Airlie Beach live in carefully selected host families who on foot or by public transport all live within 30 minutes of the language school. Families offer furnished single rooms with access to a bathroom, half board during the week and full board at weekends. It also gives students who come to study English at our language school in Airlie Beach the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture in Australia, and so can provide them with a valuable experience in addition to their English language course.

All students and their friends who wish to study English in Airlie Beach are welcome to stay together in the same host family. Should you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please state these on your enrolment form, so that the family can prepare for these needs as best as possible.

Shared Apartments

Living in shared apartments is also a very popular choice among students at the English language school in Airlie Beach. The apartments are just ten minutes away from the language school. You can choose between single and double rooms. Each apartment has a balcony, a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Bedding is also provided, but you must bring your own towels. If you choose to live in a shared apartment, you will have the opportunity to share with people from all over the world.
