Almost all of the students who study English in Brisbane live in carefully selected host families who by public transport or on foot all live within 30 to 40 minutes of the language school. Living in a host family in Brisbane will also provide students with plenty of opportunities to use and improve their newly acquired English skills. It also gives students who come to study English at our language school in Brisbane the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture in Australia, and so can provide them with a valuable experience in addition to their English language course. For accommodation with a host family please choose from the following options:

Host Family

Host families offer single rooms with half board during the week and full board at weekends. The bathroom is shared and your laundry is done for you. There are at most two students of different nationalities housed with the same family.

Deluxe Host Family

These host families offer single rooms with your own private bathroom, half board during the week and full board at weekends. Your laundry gets done for you. There is at most one student per family.

All students and their friends who wish to study English in Brisbane are welcome to stay together in the same host family. Should you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please state these on your enrolment form, so that the family can prepare for these needs as best as possible.

Shared Apartments

You will share an apartment with other language students and Australians. You will have your own single room and share the bathroom with the others. Breakfast is included in the price. You will have to do your own laundry.

Other Accommodation

The English language school in Brisbane is happy to arrange other accommodation for you in your preferred price range. You are also welcome to book your English language course in Brisbane without accommodation provided by us.

Airport Pickup and Drop-off

Pickup from and drop-off at the airport is not included in course fees but is easily arranged. Please see our price list for fees. You can also get to your accommodation using public transport. Further information regarding such travel will be sent to you with your travel documents for your English language course in Australia.
