Many of the students who study English in Vancouver live in carefully selected host families who all live near the school. Families offer furnished single rooms or double rooms upon request with full board. Living in a host family in Vancouver will also provide students with plenty of opportunities to use and improve their newly acquired English skills. It also gives students who come to study English at our language school in Vancouver the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture in Canada, and so can provide them with a valuable experience in addition to their English language course.

 

All students and their friends who wish to study English in Vancouver are welcome to stay together in the same host family. Should you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please state these on your enrolment form, so that the family can prepare for these needs as best as possible.

Student House

The Student Houses are also a popular choice among students. The houses have several single rooms, a living room and a large kitchen with a washing machine. You will live with an average of six other students about 20-30 minutes from the school on foot. The houses all have free Internet access, wireless connection, a TV and a DVD player. Bedding is provided, but students are required to bring their own towels. Students are responsible for cleaning.

Airport pickup and drop-off

Pickup from and drop-off at the airport is not included in course fees but is easily arranged. Please see our price list for fees. You can also get to your accommodation using public transport. Further information regarding such travel will be sent to you with your travel documents for your English language course in Canada.
