Almost all of the students who study English in Cambridge live in carefully selected host families, who live within three to six kilometres of the English language school in Cambridge. Families offer furnished single rooms with half board. You can also get your laundry washed up to twice a week at your host family’s house. Living in a host family in Cambridge will also provide students with plenty of opportunities to use and improve their newly acquired English skills. It also gives students who come to study English at our language school in Cambridge the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture in England, and so can provide them with a valuable experience in addition to their English language course.

All students and their friends who wish to study English in Cambridge are welcome to stay together in the same host family. Should you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please state these on your enrolment form, so that the family can prepare for these needs as best as possible.

Other Accommodation

The English language school in Cambridge is happy to arrange other accommodation for you in your preferred price range. You are also welcome to book your English language course in Cambridge without accommodation provided by us.

Airport pickup

Pickup from and drop-off at the airport is not included in course fees but is easily arranged. Please see our price list for fees. A member of staff from the language school in Cambridge will then come and pick you up from the airport. You can also get to your accommodation using public transport. Further information regarding such travel will be sent to you with your travel documents for your English language course in England.
