Many of the students who study English in Cork live in carefully selected host families, which by public transport do not live more than 20 - 30 minutes from the English language school in Cork. Families offer furnished single and double rooms with access to a bathroom, half board during the week and full board at weekends. Living in a host family in Cork will also provide students with plenty of opportunities to use and improve their newly acquired English skills. It also gives students who come to study English at our language school in Cork the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture in Ireland, and so can provide them with a valuable experience in addition to their English language course.

 

All students and their friends who wish to study English in Cork are welcome to stay together in the same host family. Should you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please state these on your enrolment form, so that the family can prepare for these needs as best as possible.

Shared Apartments A

The English language school in Cork offers accommodation in its own apartment complex, which is only a ten-minute walk from the school building, so you wouldn’t have to go far to get to your language course. The apartments are all practically and comfortably furnished. Each apartment has two or three bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. Each apartment also has a living room with TV and a fully equipped kitchen which the students share. Bedding is provided, but students must bring their own towels.

Shared Apartments B

The apartments are located about eleven minutes on foot from the English language school in Cork and are comfortably furnished. Students each have their own bedroom, and share a fully furnished kitchen, a living room with TV, washing machine, and a bathroom. Bedding is provided, but students must bring their own towels.

The English language school in Cork is happy to arrange other accommodation for you in your preferred price range. You are also welcome to book your English language course in Cork without accommodation provided by us.

Airport pickup and drop-off

Pickup from and drop-off at Cork International Airport is available. For students who have arranged accommodation with a host family, the price of pickup from the airport is included in the accommodation fees. Students who have reserved a room in an apartment can book transfer to or from the airport for 45 Euros per trip. Please see our price list for fees.
