Almost all of the students who study English on Coromandel Peninsula live in carefully selected host families who on foot all live within 10 to 15 minutes of the language school. Normally, host families also supply a bike for their students, so they can cycle to school. Families offer furnished single rooms with access to a bathroom, half board during the week and full board at weekends. Living in a host family on Coromandel Peninsula will also provide students with plenty of opportunities to use and improve their newly acquired English skills. It also gives students who come to study English at the language school on Coromandel Peninsula the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture in New Zealand, and so can provide them with a valuable experience in addition to their English language course.

 

All students and their friends who wish to study English on Coromandel Peninsula are welcome to stay together in the same host family. Should you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please state these on your enrolment form, so that the family can prepare for these needs as best as possible.

Hostel

The language school on Coromandel Peninsula also offers accommodation in a hostel which is only 10 to 15 minutes away from the school. All rooms are cleaned on a weekly basis, and fresh towels and bedding are provided. Most rooms also have their own bathroom. In addition, the hostel has its own fully equipped kitchen, a large dining hall, pay-per-use washing machine, free Internet access and a lounge with TV, DVD and stereo system.
