Boston - USA

undefined

Boston - the birthplace of America - lies in the heart of New England, directly on the East coast. The city, with its 600,000 inhabitants, is considered one of America's most historically rich locations. The first shots of the American Revolutionary War were heard here as early as 1770: the Boston Tea Party of 1773 made the first steps towards a free America possible. Later settlements and America's economic boom are all linked to Boston.

Besides tradition, Boston is also known for progress. This is because Boston has over 80 universities at which a large number of young people study each year - the most famous of these schools being Harvard University. Boston is a city that thrives on its youth which is also why it tends to be the first choice for American students and also among people who come from all over the world to study English.

Boston’s vibrant nightlife and the stunning scenery of the region surrounding Boston attract large numbers of tourists and students every year. The picturesque beaches of Cape Cod, the Niagara Falls, and the Appalachian Mountains of Vermont are just a short distance away from Boston. In the afternoon when classes at the English school are over for the day you can discover Boston’s historic buildings, beautiful parks and lovely museums. You can also enjoy a variety of leisure activities in Boston. These include surfing, fishing, hiking and much more.
