Host Family

Almost all of the students who study French in Montreux live in carefully selected host families who all live close to the language school. Families offer furnished single or double rooms with breakfast or half board. Living in a host family in Montreux will also provide students with plenty of opportunities to use and improve their newly acquired French skills. It also gives students who come to study French at our language school in Montreux the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture in Switzerland, and so can provide them with a valuable experience in addition to their French language course.

 

All students including their friends who wish to study French in Montreux are welcome to stay together in the same host family. Should you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please state these on your enrolment form, so that the family can prepare for these needs as best as possible.

Shared Apartment

The apartments are in the centre of Montreux, only a few minutes on foot from the language school, restaurants, cinemas, bars and the lake. The apartments are especially good for students who want to make a lot of new friends and be independent. There are single and double rooms, fully furnished with a TV, kitchen, washing machine, free Internet access and WLAN.

Airport pickup and drop-off

Pickup from and drop-off at the airport is not included in course fees but is easily arranged. Please see our price list for fees. You can also get to your accommodation using public transport.
