undefined

The small village of Cefalù is situated approximately 70 kilometres east of Palermo at the foot of the magnificent Rocca di Cefalù. This picturesque historic village with its cobblestone alleys is overlooked by the Norman cathedral. There is a long sandy beach to the west of the village and to the east are several small beaches surrounded by cliffs and rocks. Further inland are also the Madonie Mountains which are up to 2000 metres above sea lever and are in part reserved as national parks.

Sicily is far more than simply the area of Italy from which the famous Mafia comes. Lemon and olive groves flourish here, and there are numerous vineyards, orange plantations and almond trees. Remnants from its long history are found all over; there are innumerable art treasures from the Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Normans, and Stauffer nobility that inhabited and governed the island during the past 3000 years. Our Italian school in Sicily is the perfect choice for people who want to study Italian and enjoy a diverse holiday by the beach. Whether you're an art or nature lover, interested in archaeology or after plenty of sunshine, a fan of water sports or culinary indulgences - Sicily is extremely diverse and has something to suite everyone’s taste.
