Our Italian language school in Florence is housed in a magnificent 17th century palace. The Palazzo is located in the middle of the historical city centre on a beautiful street that leads directly to the Cathedral of Florence. The language school in Florence has 11 spacious, brightly lit, and comfortable classrooms that provide an excellent learning environment. In addition, the language school also has an extensive library, a media centre with video projector and stereo equipment, and friendly staff that is always ready to help student and offer advice. From the windows of the institute, you can enjoy a glorious view of the cathedral and the Palazzo Medici-Riccardi. The minimum age requirement for this school is 16 years.

Teachers

All of the institute's teachers have a college degree from the University of Florence and special training in teaching Italian as a foreign language. They have all the necessary skills to ensure high quality Italian teaching, combining a dynamic and engaging approach with friendliness and flexibility.

Italian Language Courses

Throughout the year, the language school in Florence offers language courses as group lessons (with an average class size of 8 students) as well as one-on-one training and combination courses. There are standard courses (20 lessons per week) and intensive courses (25 or 30 lessons per week) for students of all Italian proficiency levels. New Italian language courses start every other week for students of all proficiency levels. A special feature of this school is free afternoon tutoring. This gives students the opportunity to go over all the topics from lessons again.

Accreditations

The language school in Florence is recognised as an official educational institution by the Italian Ministry of Education. In addition, the intensive language courses at this school qualify as education leave in several German federal states.

Teaching Materials

There is a specific curriculum for each course, which is supplemented with various learning materials such as audio-visual materials and literary texts. These supplementary materials have been collected by teaching staff and school administration over the years and are continually being re-assessed and updated to guarantee their relevance. All students receive a certificate upon successful completion of their Italian language courses in Italy.
