San Remo is situated at the northern tip of the Liguria Riviera amidst picturesque landscapes, blue seas and magnificent mountains. From here you can also quite easily visit Monte Carlo which is just 40 kilometres away.
San Remo’s lively city centre is characterised by the famous Ariston-Theater ("Festival della Canzone Italiana"), long palm tree promenades, and elegant shops and boutiques as well as the traditional weekly market. The historic city centre features several great examples of late middle-age architecture. San Remo, not long ago named "La città della pace" (the City of Peace) by the Nobel Foundation, is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and significant coastal areas of the Italian "Riviera of Flowers."

San Remo is especially known for its flowers: year after year the city exports millions of flowers all over the world. The approximately 60,000 inhabitants of San Remo are also known for their friendliness and hospitality.
In San Remo enjoys approximately 300 days of sunshine over the course of the year and the air is pleasantly dry. Temperatures range from 30° C (water temperature 26° C) in the summer to 15° C in the winter.
