Almost all of the students who study Spanish in Santo Domingo de Heredia live in carefully selected host families who on foot all live within 15 minutes of the language school. Families offer furnished single rooms, half board or full board, and laundry service. Living in a host family in Santo Domingo de Heredia will also provide students with plenty of opportunities to use and improve their newly acquired Spanish skills. It also gives students who come to study Spanish at our language school in Santo Domingo de Heredia the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture in Costa Rica, and so can provide them with a valuable experience in addition to their Spanish language course.

All students including their friends who wish to study Spanish in Santo Domingo de Heredia are welcome to stay together in the same host family. Should you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please state these on your enrolment form, so that the family can prepare for these needs as best as possible.

Shared Apartments

These spacious apartments each have two to three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room with a TV and a bathroom. The kitchen is fully furnished (incl. washing machine) and will allow you to be completely self-sufficient during your stay. Apartments are cleaned once per week and fresh bedding is provided. Students are required to bring their own towels. As a special highlight some apartments even have a garden. The language school can be reached in approximately 10 to 25 minutes on foot.

Private Apartment

These spacious apartments offer language students a comfortable accommodation in close proximity to the school (approx. 20-25 minutes walking distance). The apartments are all close to the city centre and numerous shops can also be easily reached on foot. Each apartment has at least one bedroom as well as a kitchen, bathroom, living room with TV, and a washing machine. Some apartments even have their own garden. Rooms are cleaned every week and provided with fresh bedding. Students are required to bring their own towels.

Airport pickup and drop-off

Pickup from San José - Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) and transfer to your accommodation is included when you book accommodation with us.
