Tamarindo - Costa Rica

Tamarindo is situated on the peninsula of Guanacaste, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The city is known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife. Tamarindo has a population of 10,000 inhabitants. Tamarindo’s clear blue waters, and excellent surfing, diving and snorkelling conditions attract large numbers of visitors every year. Temperatures range from 22 to 35°C ensuring a pleasant climate all year round.

Rosa and Monte Verde are not far away. The Arenal Volcano, which is still active, is a highlight for every visitor. Every evening you can see the glowing red lava roll down the mountain. The fiestas in Guanacaste are famous throughout Costa Rica.
