The language school in Havana wants to ensure that all students who choose to study Spanish at this school have a fantastic educational experience here in Cuba. We want to make sure that you not only enjoy your Spanish language course at the language school in Havana, but that you can also stay in accommodation that best suits your needs. You may choose from the following options:

Host Family

Almost all of the students who study Spanish in Havana live in carefully selected host families who all live in the neighbourhood of Vedado. Although Vedado is a quiet neighbourhood, there are still plenty of bars and clubs around. You can get to the old city centre of Havana from Vedado in 40 minutes on foot, or in 15 minutes by taxi. Families offer furnished single or double (only for students travelling together) rooms with half board (breakfast and dinner). All rooms have either air-conditioning or a fan. For a small additional charge students can also get laundry service. Living in a host family in Havana will also provide students with plenty of opportunities to use and improve their newly acquired Spanish skills. It also gives students who come to study Spanish at our language school in Havana the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture in Cuba, and so can provide them with a valuable experience in addition to their Spanish language course.

All students including their friends who wish to study Spanish in Havana are welcome to stay together in the same host family. Should you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please state these on your enrolment form, so that the family can prepare for these needs as best as possible.

Other Accommodation

The Spanish language school in Havana is happy to arrange other accommodation for you in your preferred price range. You are also welcome to book your Spanish language course in Havana without accommodation provided by us.

Airport pickup and drop-off

Pickup from and drop-off at Havana Airport is not offered by the language school. However, you can easily get to your accommodation by public transport or a taxi. You will receive more information about this with your travel documents for your language course in Cuba.
