Alicante - Spain

Alicante lies in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula, directly on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It is the capital of the Costa Blanca and one of the most beautiful coastal areas in all of Spain. Alicante enjoys excellent weather all year round with an average temperature of 18°.

The countless beaches in and around Alicante ensure that you can always find fun things to do when you are not busy attending classes at our Spanish school in Alicante.

Parts of the coastal area are protected under natural conservation policies, and the waters are perfect for sailing, surfing, and snorkelling. The mountains around the city, which are over 1500 meters above sea level, are ideal for hiking and rock climbing tours. Castillo (Castle) de Santa Bárbara, which overlooks the city and is a reminder of the historic past, is also worth a visit.

Alicante also has the advantage of being a university town, which means that there are large numbers of students in the city creating a lively nightlife. Alicante has a historic city centre and a beautiful harbour with countless bars.

Even though Alicante has a population of 320,000 inhabitants, you can still get to most places on foot. Only on rare occasions will you need to take advantage of the well-developed public transport system.

So, why not study Spanish at our Spanish school in Alicante and discover this charming Spanish university city for yourself!
