Most of the students who study Spanish in Madrid live in carefully selected host families who by public transport all live no more than 15 minutes away from the language school. Families offer furnished single rooms with no meals, breakfast or half board. Living in a host family in Madrid will also provide students with plenty of opportunities to use and improve their newly acquired Spanish skills. It also gives students who come to study Spanish at our language school in Madrid the opportunity to become acquainted with the culture in Spain, and so can provide them with a valuable experience in addition to their Spanish language course.

All students including their friends who wish to study Spanish in Madrid are welcome to stay together in the same host family. Should you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please state these on your enrolment form, so that the family can prepare for these needs as best as possible.

Shared Apartment

The language school in Madrid has its own shared apartments, which can each accommodate between four and six residents. The apartments are at most 10 minutes away from the school by subway. The apartments all have several bedrooms, a common lounge area, kitchen and two bathrooms. In addition, each room comes with a TV, washing machine and electronic kitchen appliances. When booking a room in a shared apartment, please be aware that there is a 100 Euro deposit that is returned after the language course providing that the room remains in good condition.

Studio Apartment

The language school in Madrid also has studio apartments that are only 2 minutes from the language school on foot. These apartments are each equipped with a bedroom/living room, kitchenette, and bathroom. Moreover they are air-conditioned, and come furnished with a TV, washing machine and electronic kitchen appliances.

When booking a studio apartment, please be aware that there is a 100 Euro deposit that is returned after the duration of the language course providing that the room remains in good condition.

Other Accommodation

The Spanish language school in Madrid is happy to arrange other accommodation for you in your preferred price range. You are also welcome to book your Spanish language course in Madrid without accommodation provided by us.

Meal Plan

There is an additional option of getting half board provided by the language school in Madrid. Breakfast is served in a quaint café in close proximity of the school and lunch in accompaniment of a teacher in a private room of a restaurant. This meal plan is only for weekdays (Monday - Friday).

Airport pickup and drop-off

Pickup from and drop-off at the airport is not included in course fees but is easily arranged. Please see our price list for fees. You can also get to your accommodation using public transport.
