Tenerife - Spain

Tenerife is the largest island of the Canary Islands. It has a population of 220,000 inhabitants of which approximately 30,000 live in Puerto de la Cruz which is where our Spanish school is also located. The Spanish island is surrounded by crystal clear water of the Atlantic and has a mountain range crossing it. The Teide Volcano, which is 3,716 metres tall and which creates a fascinating landscape, is not only the highest elevation on the island, but also in all of Spain.
Tenerife is scenically the most beautiful and diverse island of the Canary Islands. Here jagged cliffs alternate with colourful, fertile valleys, like the Orotava Valley, from which a large portion of the Spanish banana crop comes.

Because of its year-round, warm climate, which averages at 27° C, Tenerife is also called the "Island of Eternal Spring." The pleasant weather and innumerable stunning beaches have made Tenerife a very popular holiday destination. Here water sports lovers will find excellent diving and surfing conditions. But sports lovers are not the only ones to get their money's worth on Tenerife. A very well-known bird park and the world's largest aquarium are both on the island as well.
So, why not study Spanish at our Spanish school on Tenerife and enjoy an amazing beach holiday at the same time!
