Accommodation

You will live with a carefully selected, amicable, French-speaking family who has been taking on guest students from all over the world for many years now and was chosen with the highest standards in mind. Usually two guest students live in a host family, and you will be accommodated in either a single or double room. So if you want to travel with your best friend, you can naturally be accommodated in the same family. The family will provide you with breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they will even help you with your laundry. Host families live either directly in the center of Arcachon or just a little outside of the city center. The language school and city center are both easily attainable either by foot or in a maximum of 25 minutes on the bus.

Especially important for us is that you feel comfortable in your host family because only in this way will you learn the language as quickly as possible: by communicating day by day with your host parents and siblings and being involved in the family. It has often occurred that long-term friendships develop during a stay with a host family, resulting in many mutual visits. If, however, you don't feel comfortable in your living situation, we will find a suitable solution together with you and in case of an emergency find you a new host family.

If you have any special requests, we will naturally try to accommodate them: you're a vegetarian, you want a host family without pets, you have allergies? Just be sure to state such information on your enrollment form and we'll find the right host family for you!
