Activities Program

Hardly any other language school offers you such a diverse activities program as this one! Every Wednesday is a daylong excursion and on another afternoon during the week is a shorter excursion or an activity. For example, these include hiking or mountain biking in the Pyrenees, rafting in the Basque region, a city tour of Bayonne, visits to the Museum of Modern Art and the Basque Musuem, an excursion to Pau, a visit to the palaces of Henry IV, a tour of the Chocolate Museum of Biarritz, and much, much more!

In addition, you'll go surfing one afternoon per week. On another afternoon in the week you can participate in sports activities such as: horseback riding, golfing, rafting, beach volleyball, mountain biking, canoeing on the ocean, swimming in a salt water pool. And you'll also have time to laze on the beach, stroll through the city, become acquainted with your new friends, and simply enjoy your vacation. The word "boredom" is totally unknown in Biarritz!

You will be supervised by our friendly school team and host families. The team of supervisors is available to you at any time if you have any worries, problems, wishes, suggestions, lovesickness, simply want to chat, or are looking for a couple of good tips for spending your free afternoon. There's always someone to help you!

The supervisors are not babysitters but rather are nice people who want the same thing as you: fun! The school team also organizes your diverse activities program with parties, excursions, and many other events that are sure to be a lot of fun. The team clearly won't watch over you around the clock! On the way to school, for example, you will naturally be underway alone, and if you go shopping in the afternoon, there won't be a counselor constantly with you. The team just makes sure that you conform to the rules agreed upon, so that you get back home safely after having a great vacation.
