San José - Costa Rica

Our school in Santo Domingo de Heredia is about 10 minutes north of San José. The 50,000 inhabitants are known for their kind nature and their hospitality, so you'll feel at home quickly. Many families with children live in this enjoyable residential atmosphere in which there are also parks and pretty churches, along with restaurants, sports, and shopping opportunities.
Costa Rica
If you come to Costa Rica, you'll get to know one of the most diverse countries in the world: many National Parks with unique animals and plants, active volcanoes, endless sandy beaches on the Pacific and the Caribbean, and much much more. Wonder at the monkeys on the beach in the National Park Manuel Antonio, or go snorkeling in the Caribbean. As you can see, there's something for everyone.
A third of the country is protected by the government, a majority of which are National Parks: here you can witness unique animal and plant worlds, full of various birds, monkeys, crocodiles, turtles, tapirs, and jaguars. You can take a day- or night-tour to one of the 72 volcanoes, mountainbike through the mountains of the Central Valley and enjoy the rafting with many waterfalls, or make use of the optimal conditions to surf, bodyboard, and dive in the crystal clear water on the almost 1500 kilomter Caribbean and Pacific coastlines. Costa Rica - a country full of culture and adventurous nature at the same time. Doesn't that sound tempting?
